Restorative Autumn Flow

ripping a cascade notion . . .

A branch of red and orange leaves with bright shadowy lighting.

It started to erupt upon
a soft ruby grapefruit glow
a slight scarlet singe on the rim
reminiscent of yonder rapture
an essential crackle capture
etching tickly crisscrosses
across the glowy wide dome
of my strewn ingenuity.

My invigorated skyline glows
it points straight ahead on point
slanting up westwardly to a bald
pudgy Huntress Supermoon.

A skulking seasonal shiver
weighs down eucalyptus boughs
into a heavily punctuated pout
wilted blooms scatter by and by
seeping worn secret passages
warm discombobulation lost
a hotly reconciled upcoming hint
of provocative wintry embers.

Ferals fluff flea-infested fur
purr into a stiff daybreak breeze
awaiting shy mockingbirds shrill
I plant a protest against this chill.
